VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Alina M. Furr, 87, of 206 S. Mill, died at 7:15 p.m. CST Thursday (March 4, 1976) at St. Elizabeth's Hospital. She had been a patient for about three weeks. Born Oct. 2, 1888, in Fountain County, Ind., she was the daughter of Benjamin F. and Margaret Zeigler Reed. On Oct. 8, 1908, in Fountain County, she was married to Raymond Furr, who preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Townsend and Mrs. Ben "Marie" Grunden, both of Veedersburg, and Mrs. Clifford "Margaret" Jenks of Veedersburg Route 2; two sons, Lawrence Furr of Hillsboro and Robert Furr of Noblesville; a sister, Mrs. Fern Hanger of Indianapolis; a brother, M.E. Reed of Winamac, Ind.; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two brothers and four grandchildren. Mrs. Furr was a member of the Veedersburg Methodist Church, American War Mothers Club and United Methodist Women. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Sunday at the Methodist Church, with the Rev. Glen Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 Saturday at the Dickerson Funeral Home.  --typed by Walt W
